Germany: RTL acquires TV rights for 15 Europa League matches per season (2018-2021 cycle)

The German audiovisual group Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland has acquired the free-TV rights for the broadcast of 15 Europa League games per season, for the 2018-2021 cycle, for Germany, from UEFA on 19/12/2017. RTL has the first choice of each Europa League game for each matchday, starting from the group stages. The matches will be broadcast either on the free and private TV channel RTL, or on NITRO, the free-TV channel of the German audiovisual group.

Perform Group, a British group specialising in the production and distribution of sports content on digital platforms, acquired the rights of all 205 Europa League matches for Germany (2018-2021 cycle) on 04/10/2017. The group will co-broadcast these 15 games and the remaining 190 exclusively on its OTT sports platform, DAZN.

The audiovisual groups Sky Deutschland and Sport1 are the TV rights holders of the Europa League for Germany for the 2015-2018 cycle.
