European cups: UEFA launches the 2018-2021 TV rights tender for the Asia Pacific region

UEFA has launched a tender for 11 countries and territories in the Asia (excluding China and Japan) for the media rights to the UEFA Champions League and Europa League for the 2018-2021 period, announced the European body on 15/12/2017. Applicants must submit their offers by 01/02/2018 at the latest.

The eleven countries and territories concerned have been divided into eight calls for tenders as follows:
• Hong Kong
• Indonesia
• Malaysia and Brunei
• Philippines
• Singapore
• Taiwan
• Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia
• Vietnam

UEFA had begun the process of call for tenders for the media rights and commercial rights of the European Cups with China on 13/12/2016 and Japan on 14/12/2016.

• UEFA launched a tender for aircraft and ships for the 2018-2021 media rights of the European cups on 20/12/2017.
  • Applicants must submit their offers by 23/01/2018.
