SD Eibar: shareholders approve a record budget of €45.3m for 2017-18

The general meeting of shareholders of SD Eibar (LaLiga Santander) has approved a record budget of €45.3m, with pre-tax income of €15.2m, for the 2017-18 season, on 13/12/2017. SD Eibar registered a turnover of €42.99m, with a pre-tax result of €12.4m, and a net result of €10.82m for the 2016-17 season, indicated the club on 10/11/2017.

"SD Eibar president, Amaia Gorostiza, revealed that in the spring of 2018 it is likely that an extraordinary meeting will be called to discuss the plans for the club's future training ground," said SD Eibar. Two locations are envisaged, one in Eibar, the other in another municipality in the region.

The president also announced plans to demolish and rebuild the western platform of the Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa (7,083 capacity) at the end of the 2017-18 season (date unconfirmed). The capacity of the stadium would be increased to 8,100 and new spaces would be provided for the media, in addition to the creation of a day care centre and a study room.
