FIFPro: General Assembly from the 22 to the 24/10/2013 in Ljubljana (Slovenia)

The annual FIFPro (International Federation of Professional Footballers) congress will take place from the 22/10 to the 24/10/2013 at Ljubjlana (Slovenia), announced the international union, on the 18/10/2013. The assembly will be asked to ratify the appointment of Philippe Piat as president for the period 2013-2017. The Frenchman was elected unopposed by the Executive Committee on the 23/09/2013.

Match-fixing, the ownership of players by third parties, and the position of FIFPro on matches played in extreme heat (the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and especially the 2022 World Cup in Qatar) are high on the agenda.
