Facebook: 50.7 million fans in total for the 20 Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (January 2018)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama have more than 50.7 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/01/2018. The Ligue 1 Conforama is the least-followed European Top 5 league on Facebook, with an average of around 2.54 million fans per club.

FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who have the highest progression rate of a Ligue 1 Conforama club (+11.4%) compared to on 01/12/2017, have 881,224 fans (+89,965 'likes').

Paris Saint-Germain, the first French club to cross the 30 million fans mark in July 2017, recorded an increase of 367,142 fans in December 2017 (+1.1%). Paris Saint-Germain alone draw 64.5% of the total fans of all of the Ligue 1 Conforama clubs; no other club in the Top 5 dominates its league in this way on Facebook.

Seven of the 20 Conforama Ligue 1 clubs saw their number of fans decrease in December 2017 (see below). This drop can be explained by a "cleanup" operated by Facebook, which removes the "likes" given by "bots" (robots) or by inactive or even deactivated accounts.
