Twitter: 20.3 million followers in total for the 20 clubs of the Serie A TIM (January 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM have a cumulative total of 20.32 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/01/2018. The Serie A TIM ranks third in the Top 5 European leagues behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, and crosses the bar of one million followers per club on average.

AC Milan are the most-watched Italian club on Twitter with 6.37 million followers (+156.185 followers), ahead of Juventus (5.76 million), AS Roma (1.53 million), Inter Milan (1.53 million) and SSC Napoli (1.29 million).

With 20.2% additional followers, Benevento Calcio had the best percentage growth in relative value during the month of December 2017. However, the club remains under 10,000 followers and thus has the lowest total of any club in the Top 5 European leagues (8,332 followers).
