France: PMU (betting operator) to extend as a major partner of the FFF until 2022 (press)

PMU, a French betting operator for horse racing, sports, and other gaming, will extend as a major partner of the FFF and amateur football for the 2018-2022 period, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe on 26/12/2017. PMU has been a partner of the FFF since 2010, and until the end of the 2018 World Cup.

This is a first level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the French Football Federation. The amount is estimated at between €8m and €9m per season over the 2014-2018 period, and will remain stable over the 2018-2022 period according to L'Équipe on 26/12/2017.

The collaboration between PMU and the FFF covers the French men's and women's A teams, the Espoirs (U-22) teams, as well as the Coupe de France. The PMU logo appears in particular on the back of the training wear of the French A teams, and the group activates its partnership with the "Bars des Bleus" device.
