Eurosport: Stade Rennais - PSG (Coupe de France) also broadcast to Canal+ subscribers in OTT

The pay-TV group Eurosport France, a subsidiary of the American audiovisual conglomerate Discovery Communications, broadcast the Round of 64 match of the 2017-18 Coupe de France, Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Conforama) - Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama), 1-6, on its OTT platform, Eurosport Player, and on Eurosport 360, "a service of channels offered to Canal+ subscribers in France with a connected decoder or access to the MyCanal (OTT) service," on Sunday 07/01/2018 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

Eurosport France originally announced the exclusive broadcast of this match on its paid OTT Eurosport Player platform on 22/12/2017. The pay-TV group reversed this decision after a negotiation with the FFF, (according to French media), and thus also broadcast the game on Eurosport 360, but not on its Eurosport 1 and 2 channels, on which Coupe de France games are usually broadcast. Eurosport 1 and 2 are exclusively distributed in France by the Canal+ group, following an agreement reached between the two groups on 09/02/2015.
