Twitter: 13.46 million followers in total for the 18 Bundesliga clubs (January 2018)

The 18 clubs participating in the 2017-18 Bundesliga season have a cumulative 13.46 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/01/2018. The Bundesliga is the least-watched Top 5 league on Twitter, with an average of 748,008 followers per club.

Bayern Munich are the most popular German club on Twitter, with 4.24 million followers, up 1.8% from the beginning of December 2017. The Bavarian club is the only Bundesliga club to have more than 4 millions of followers. Borussia Dortmund, second in the rankings, total more than 3 million. Both clubs account for 54.6% of the total followers of the 18 Bundesliga clubs.

With 3.4% more followers, RB Leipzig are the club with the best percentage growth on Twitter during the month of December 2017, but remain last in the rankings with 146,633 followers. VfB Stuttgart are the sixth German club to break the 500,000 mark.
