Go Sport Group sign new franchise deal in the Middle East with Al Mana (Qatar)

Go Sport Group have signed a new 'master franchise' agreement for a period of ten years (until 2023) with the Qatari Al Mana Company, the sports distribution group said, on the 21/10/2013. The agreement now covers Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait and plans to develop a minimum network of 23 Go Sport and 17 Courir stores throughout these Middle Eastern countries.

Go Sport Group is already established in Qatar, the UAE and Kuwait with 11 stores (10 Go Sport and 1 Courir stores), including a 2,300 square meter (24,000 square feet) Go Sport in Doha (Qatar).

"We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the Al Mana Group, which will strengthen the presence of our brands in the Gulf and thus increase our international reach," said Jean-Paul Onillon, CEO of the Go Sport Group.

• Go Sport has been an official partner of Paris Saint-Germain since the 01/07/2012. The contract runs until the end of the 2013/14 season.
