SIS 2018: conference on sustainable innovation in sport, in Amsterdam (NED), 02 and 03/05/2018

The "Sustainable Innovation in Sport 2018" conference, organised by the NGO Climate Action, is scheduled on Wednesday 02 and Thursday 03/05/2018, at the Amsterdam ArenA in Amsterdam (NED). This is the third edition of this conference, organised in Paris (FRA) in 2015 and Munich (GER) in 2017.

The conference will bring together more than 200 leaders from governments, the United Nations, sports movements (leagues, clubs and authorities), the media, sponsors and agencies, who will discuss the role of sustainable development in sport and the fight against climate change, and will present existing initiatives and technologies.

"Launched during COP21 with the patronage of the French Ministry of Cities, Youth and Sport, this meeting began to drive serious stakeholder engagement and action around reducing the impact of sport on the environment.
