AS Saint-Etienne: Frédéric Paquet (formerly LOSC Lille) appointed new CEO, from 19/01/2018

"Bernard Caïazzo and Roland Romeyer, co-owners of AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1 Conforama), have appointed Frédéric Paquet as chief executive officer," said ASSE on 09/01/2018.

Frédéric Paquet held various positions at LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Conforama) from 2000 to 2015: marketing director, director of development, and then executive vice-president of administration and sport. It was in the period in which he held this last position, from 2009 to 2015, that the club achieved the French football double, winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France in 2010-11.

"Frédéric Paquet has established himself as the best choice among the many candidates we have studied. He has an excellent knowledge of professional football, great experience in running a club and true international culture. (His) appointment marks an important step in the transformation phase that we consider indispensable for the future of the club, which also involves the arrival of a powerful investor," said Bernard Caïazzo and Roland Romeyer in a joint statement.
