Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) finished the 2017 year with 118,064 socios, a record, indicated the club on 01/01/2018. The club exceeded the 100,000 socios mark on 23/02/2017.

Club Atlético de Madrid had 96,707 socios at the end of 2016, an increase of 21,357 in one year (+22%).

Among Atlético de Madrid's members, 56,344 (or 47.7%) also subscribed to the club's matches at the Wanda Metropolitano (68,000 capacity). The other 61,720 were "non-subscriber socios", who benefited from various advantages (free seats, discount, priority for certain matches) in exchange for their membership. The "non-subscriber socio" card costs €50 per season.
