"We inform the parties that the extension of the sanction procedure is suspended. No decision will be taken until further notice", said FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association), about the suspension of all official duties for Leonardo, the former sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain until the 30/06/2014, in a letter to the FFF (French Football Federation), on the 22/10/2013.

The Paris Administrative Court suspended the execution of the penalty imposed against the former sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain on the 15/10/2013. FFF had noted the tribunal's decision of the 15/10/2013 and seized the Council of State.

  • The Brazilian was initially suspended for nine months by the Disciplinary Committee of the LFP (French Professional Football League), on the 30/05/2013, for pushing referee Alexandre Castro during the meeting of PSG-Valenciennes (1-1 on the 05/05/2013).
  • The sanction was upheld until the end of the 2013/14 season (30/06/2014) by the upper appeal board of the FFF (French Football Federation), on the 04/07/2013.
