MLB: The Texas Rangers franchise will give its name to a golf course in the region

The Texas Rangers MLB franchise has signed an agreement with the city of Arlington (Texas, USA) for naming rights to a renovated golf club (Texas Rangers Golf Club) located near its Globe Life Park stadium (49,115 capacity) on 12/01/2018. The partnership between the Rangers and the city will be extend until the end of the year 2054.

"The Texas Rangers Golf Club is expected to open to fans by the end of this summer, and will be the result of a $24m (€19.6m) transformation of Arlington’s Ditto Golf Course, which is located approximately 20 miles from the team’s home in Dallas. It is part of a wider development that also includes a new ballpark for the Rangers. The City of Arlington will own and operate the revamped golf club and has struck a deal with the Rangers to use team branding on the facility at no additional cost," said MLB while the new Rangers stadium, the Globe Life Field, is scheduled to open in 2020 on land adjacent to the current enclosure.
