Paris 2024: dissolution of the bid committee on 18/01/2018, creation of the OCOG on 20/01/2018

"January 2018 marks a major milestone in the history of Paris 2024, with the dissolution of the Bid Committee, which led the victorious campaign, and the creation of the Organising Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games (OCOG)," indicated the Public Interest Group Paris 2024, at the end of the last meeting of its board of directors in Paris on 18/01/2018.

The last board of directors meeting was attended by its founding members, gathered around Tony Estanguet, president of Paris 2024:
• Denis Masseglia, president of CNOSF
• Laura Flessel, French minister of sports
• Jean-François Martins, deputy mayor for the city of Paris in charge of Sports, Tourism and the Olympic & Paralympic Games
• Vincent Roger, special delegate for the Olympic & Paralympic Games in the Île-de-France region
• Emmanuelle Assmann, president of the the French Paralympic and Sports Committee CPSF.
