RCD Espanyol: Roger Guasch to be new corporate CEO in February 2018

"The board of directors of RCD Espanyol of Barcelona has named Roger Guasch i Soler (born in Barcelona in 1966) as the new corporate CEO," the Catalan club announced on 18/01/2018.

Roger Guasch, currently the CEO of the Gran Teatre del Liceu (opera house, Barcelona, ESP), will take up his new position in February 2018 "with the aim of stimulating the development of the club in its management and operational part," added RCD Espanyol.

"A doctor and engineer in chemistry by training, Guasch is a leader with an established experience both in the management of private companies and in public entities, especially in matters of relations with the board of administration. At companies such as Aliança, Chupa Chups, and Solving Efeso Consulting, he has developed a deep knowledge in the commercial field with the ability to lead working teams in changing environments which require innovative management," said RCD Espanyol.

Roger Guasch will be under the direct authority of the board of directors and the executive committee. As corporate CEO, he will head the following departments:
