Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited, the Nigerian subsidiary of the US non-alcoholic beverage manufacturer, has become the "official non-alcoholic drink" and co-sponsor of Nigerian national teams, said the NFF (Nigerian Football Federation) on 17/01/2018.

The partnership is in the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the NFF. It will cover a period of five years, until the end of the year 2022. The fixed financial allocation amounts to $0.8m per season (€0.65m as at 19/01/2018).

Nigeria have qualified for the final stage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and are part of Group D (alongside Croatia, Iceland, and Argentina). Coca-Cola is a FIFA Partner (first level) of the competition.

The NFF also announced, on 17/01/2018, the signature of three new sponsorship agreements during the week of 22 to 28/01/2018.
