LaLiga Santander: average of 505,930 TV viewers per game (+13%) in first half of the 2017-18 season

Nearly 94.6 million TV viewers in Spain watched the games of the first half of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season (58.8 million on the beIN LaLiga pay-TV channels, 22.18 million on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo, and 13.6 million on the free-TV channel GOL), an average of 505,930 viewers per match (+13% compared to the 2016-17 season).

149 of the 151 matches broadcast on beIN LaLiga (eight per day) drew an average of 394,744 subscribers per game, the 19 matches broadcast on Movistar Partidazo drew 1,167 million subscribers per game, and the 19 broadcast on GOL, 716,000 viewers per match.

The Real Madrid CF - FC Barcelona (0-3) "Clasico" (Matchday 17 of LaLiga Santander), played exceptionally at 13:00 CET, drew an average of 1.864 million subscribers on beIN LaLiga (audience share: 24.1%), on Saturday 23/12/2017. A year earlier, FC Barcelona - Real Madrid (1-1, Matchday 14 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season) drew an average of 2,214,000 viewers on beIN LaLiga (audience share: 17.3%) on Saturday 03/12/2016 at 16:15 CET.
