China: DHL (logistics) extends its partnership with the Chinese Super League until 2020

DHL, a German express delivery and logistics group, has extended its partnership with the Chinese Super League for the 2018-2020 cycle (three years), on 20/01/2018. DHL has been a partner of the CSL since 2014.

This is a second level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the CSL. As part of the agreement, DHL will gain visibility on advertising panels and screens at Chinese Super League stadiums. The group are also entitled to use the image of the League in China. The contract has been estimated at nearly €1m per year.

"This collaboration demonstrates once again DHL's confidence in the Chinese market and its commitment to support the development of China's football industry. DHL's long-standing experience in sports sponsorship and industrial development will also inject new vitality into the future Super League. In recent years, Super League TV audiences have reached new heights, making our league the fifth most watched in the world. The 2017 season has exceeded 430 million viewers, a new record in the history of the league," said the CSL.
