2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama (mid-season): audience +37% (1.48 million) on Sunday nights on Canal+

At mid-season, the 17 matches of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season broadcast on Sunday evening (kick-off at 21:00 CET) on the pay-TV channel Canal+, drew an average of 1.48 million viewers per game, a 37% increase compared to the first part of the 2016-17 season, where the 16 matches broadcast on the same time slot drew an average of 1.08 million viewers.

In total, the 57 matches broadcast on the channels of the Canal+ group during the first part of the season drew 52 million viewers, versus 37 million during the 2016-17 season (+40%). At mid-season, it is the highest cumulative audience on the Canal+ group's channels since the 2007-08 season.

The games broadcast on Saturday at 17:00 CET on Canal+ drew an average of 812,000 viewers, compared with 542,000 in the 2016-17 season (broadcast on Canal+ Sport). "This box often exceeds one million (4 times in 2017-18), with a not inconsiderable PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) effect.
