Japan: Rakuten unveil exhibition of 48 FC Barcelona shirts in their cafe in Tokyo

Rakuten, a Japanese group specialising in Internet services, e-commerce, finance, and digital content, have unveiled a temporary exhibition of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) shirts in Tokyo (JPN), on 19/01/2018. Rakuten is Barça's main shirt sponsor for the 2017-2021 period (plus a one-year option), for an amount of €55m per season.

The exhibition is taking place at the Rakuten Cafe in the Shibuya district (the Rakuten Cafe chain of stores was launched in May 2014). In total, 48 FC Barcelona shirts are on display, tracing the seasons from 1980-81 to 2012-13 (the last season without a shirt sponsor for the Catalan club), and worn by former players (such as Pep Guardiola, Xavi Hernández, and Carles Puyol) as well as current players (Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, and Gerard Piqué) of the club.
