Championship: Leeds United FC re-open consultation on new crest after feedback from unsatisfied fans

Leeds United FC (Sky Bet Championship) are to re-open consultation on the new club crest, which was released on 24/01/2018, after receiving negative feedback from fans. "Leeds United would like to thank our supporters for their feedback on the proposed new crest released yesterday," said the club in a statement on 25/01/2018.

"After a rigorous process that spanned six months, we consulted more than 10,000 people connected to Leeds United, through digital surveys, one-on-one and group interviews and meetings with legends, current players, club staff, the owner, partners and representatives from the Leeds and Yorkshire communities," said the club regarding the announcement of the new crest.
