LaLiga: nine Saudi players loaned to Spain as part of an agreement with Saudi Arabia

As part of the partnership agreement between the Saudi General Sports Authority (GSA), the Saudi Football Federation, and LaLiga, nine Saudi players will be loaned to LaLiga clubs in LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 for six months from January 2018, announced the Spanish League on 21/01/2018.

The agreement, signed in London (ENG) in October 2017, aims to develop football in Saudi Arabia thanks to the expertise of LaLiga and its clubs in coaching, training methods, and scouting. Three Saudi international players will join LaLiga Santander clubs: Salem Al Dawsari (Villarreal CF), Fahad Mowallad (Levante UD), and Yahia Sahari (CD Leganés).
