La Liga: Saudi bank Samba Financial Group to partner with FC Barcelona until 2015/16

Saudi bank Samba Financial Group (Samba) has become a sponsor of FC Barcelona (La Liga) for three seasons, the club announced on the 25/10/2013. Both parties are bound to the end of the 2015/16 season. Samba becomes the official bank of FC Barcelona in Saudi Arabia, which is Barcelona's first partnership in Saudi Arabia.

The bank will use the deal to exploit the image of the Catalan club in Saudi Arabia and may offer co-branded credit cards to its customers.

"We are very pleased and proud to have Samba as a financial partner in Saudi Arabia. This partnership will strengthen our presence and position in the Middle East", said Javier Faus, vice president of FC Barcelona.
