Bundesliga: Matchday 20 attendance averages 50,135 fans, top mark in Top 5 leagues in 2017-18

Matchday 20 of the 2017-18 Bundesliga drew an average of 50,135 spectators per game, from 26 to 28/01/2018. This is a record this season. No other European Top 5 league has reached the 50,000-per-game average mark during a 2017-18 matchday. The average fill rate on Matchday 20 Bundesliga day was nearly 94%.

Borussia Dortmund - SC Freiburg (2-2), on Saturday 27/01/2018 (kick-off at 15:30 CET), was the game that recorded the best attendance with 81,360 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (fill rate: 100%). Three out of nine games drew more than 50,000 spectators and none less than 25,000.

The average league attendance reached 44,536 spectators per game after 20 matchdays, for an average fill rate of 91%.
