Udinese: Decorator becomes shirt sponsor for a game, thanks to competition launched by Dacia

"Michael Nino, Painter". A young artisan painter and decorator from Friuli, Michael Nino, 26, had his name printed on the central area of the Udinese (Serie A) shirt during their match against AS Roma (0-1,match-day 9, Serie A) 27/10/2013, following a competition launched by the car brand Dacia, the main sponsor of the club.

The contest "Dacia Sponsor for a Day" allows for the main sponsor's name to be replaced on the club shirt for three matches by local businesses or even professionals or craftsmen. Participating companies must have earned less than €100,000 in 2012 and have a maximum of three employees. The new initiative allows three small businesses to display themselves, each for a Serie A match (until the end of December) on the centre of the Udinese match shirt.

"It is gratifying to think that small businesses can emerge and stand out thanks to an initiative launched by our company", said Francesco Fontana Giusti, director of communication for Renault Italy.
