NBA: New York customers of the e-commerce site can collect their purchase from 'self-serve lockers'

From 15/01/2018, NBA Store customers at https://store.nba.com/lockers can collect their online purchase from a self-serve locker inside New York City’s flagship NBA store (545 Fifth Avenue at 45^th Street) without waiting in line, via the companies Apex and Fanatics, reported American media sources on 15/01/2018.

"Apex Order Pick-Up Technologies, provider of self-serve automation for use in retail, restaurants and food service, announced this week a pick-up program with licensed sports merchandise company Fanatics, which manages the online and physical NBA store. Using Apex AnyWhere lockers to automate BOPIS, also known as click and collect, gives customers a faster, more streamlined order pick-up experience," said Apex and Fanatics through American media.

"Once a customer’s order is ready for pickup, a notification comes via SMS or email with instructions on where and how to collect the purchase.
