Facebook: 51.4 million fans in total for the 20 Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (February 2018)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season have more than 51.4 million cumulative fans on the social network Facebook, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/02/2018. The Ligue 1 Conforama is the least-followed European Top 5 league on Facebook, with an average of around 2.57 million fans per club.

FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who posted the best progression rate of a Ligue 1 Conforama club (+15.3%) compared to on 01/01/2018, crossed the mark of one million fans in the last month (+134,509 "likes").

Paris Saint-Germain, the first French club to cross the 30 million fans mark in July 2017, recorded an increase of 428,871 fans in January 2018 (+1.3%). PSG alone comprises 64.5% of the total fans of all of the Ligue 1 Conforama clubs; no other club in the Top 5 dominates its league in this way on Facebook. 

Two of the 20 Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (Olympique de Marseille and AS Saint-Etienne) saw their number of fans decrease in January 2018 (see below). This drop can be explained by a "cleanup" operated by Facebook, which removes the "likes" given by "bots…
