MLS: YouTube TV (streaming) shirt sponsor for Los Angeles FC starting from the 2018 season

YouTube TV, an OTT television and video streaming service, has become the main shirt sponsor of Los Angeles FC (MLS) starting from the 2018 season, on 31/01/2018. Major League Soccer's 23rd franchise will debut in the North American professional football league on 04/03/2018 with an away match against the Seattle Sounders.

YouTube TV has the status of "Official Live TV Partner" and "Official Video Partner" of LAFC. The platform will broadcast all of the locally-broadcasted English-language games of LAFC, as well as the 12 games of the franchise broadcast nationally in 2018 on the English-language channels ESPN, Fox, and FS1.

Partnerships with a local Spanish-language broadcaster and English-speaking and Spanish-speaking radio stations to broadcast the club's games will be announced by the start of the MLS season, according to Los Angeles FC on 31/01/2018.

The duration of the partnership between YouTube TV and LAFC has not been communicated, but covers at least the entire 2018 MLS season.
