Vitality, a French eSports entity, raised €2.5m on 06/02/2018. This fundraising included the investment funds Korelya Capital (headed by former French Minister of Culture, Fleur Pellerin) and Kima Ventures, as well as H26, a holding entity owned by Olivier Delcourt, president of Dijon FCO (Ligue 1 Conforama), whose football club teamed up with Team Vitality on 01/12/2017.

"This fundraising event will allow Team Vitality to recruit the best players, compete in major professional video game competitions and leagues around the world, and create an academy dedicated to the League of Legends game for young hopefuls to prepare for the requirements of high-level gaming," said Vitality.

"Vitality's ambition is to become an undisputed European leader whose teams participate in all the major professional eSports leagues. This fundraising with partners will allow us to accelerate our growth and strengthen our position among the biggest eSports brands in Europe," stated Nicolas Maurer, CEO of Team Vitality.
