Twitter: 70.35 million followers in total for the 20 Premier League clubs (February 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Premier League season had a cumulative 70.359 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/02/2018. The Premier League ranks first in the European Top 5 with an average of 3.5 million followers per club.

Manchester United, the most-watched English club on Twitter, surpassed 17 million followers in January 2018. Everton FC (7^th in the rankings) recorded the best percentage growth rate with 5.3% more followers (+74,742).

In total, the 20 2017-18 Premier League clubs accumulated 1,631,812 new followers in January 2018, 2.32 times more than the 58 clubs of the Ligue 1 Conforama, the Serie A TIM and the Bundesliga combined (700,659).
