Twitter: 20.5 million followers in total for the 20 clubs of the Serie A TIM (February 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative total of 20.55 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/02/2018. The Serie A TIM ranks third in the Top 5 European leagues behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, and has an average of 1,027,688 followers per club.

AC Milan are the most-followed Italian club on Twitter with 6.4 million followers (+82,251 followers), ahead of Juventus (5.8 million), AS Roma (1.5 million), Inter Milan (1.5 million) and SSC Napoli (1.3 million).

With 10.6% additional followers, Benevento Calcio had the best percentage growth in January 2018. However, the club remains under 10,000 followers and has the lowest total (9,218 followers) of any club in the Top 5 European leagues.

The figures taken into account for this ranking concern only the main Twitter account of each club.
