FIFA: Marco Fazzone appointed director of the World Football Museum opened in 2016 by FIFA in Zurich

Marco Fazzone (ITA-SUI) has been appointed director of the FIFA World Football Museum, announced the international federation on 29/01/2018. He will officially take office in February 2018, and replaces Stefan Jost, who left the post in April 2017.

Marco Fazzone has been managing director of Design & Regional Art Fairs of the MCH Group Ltd. since January 2016. "Prior to his appointment as managing director at the MCH Group Ltd., Marco was the director of Resources & Finance and member of the executive committee of ART BASEL (from 2013-2016), the Commercial vice-director of the Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIK-ISEA, from 2007-2013), the director of commercial services of AOZ Zurich (from 2004-2007) and the director of commerce of the Swiss Museum Group (MUSEE SUISSE, from 2001-2004)," said FIFA on 29/01/2018.

The World Football Museum, located in Zurich (Switzerland), where FIFA's headquarters are also located, was inaugurated on 28/02/2016. It has 3,500m² of exhibition space and houses 1,000 objects, 1,400 photos, 500 videos, 60 screens and 15 interactive workstations. The…
