The German brand Puma and AC Milan (Serie A TIM) formalised their partnership on 12/02/2018. Effective from 01/07/2018, AC Milan will make Puma an official partner, global technical supplier, and official licensing partner of the Italian club.

Puma will succeed its rival German brand, adidas, who has been with the club since 01/07/1998, as the equipment supplier of AC Milan. The club and adidas announced the advanced ending of their collaboration at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season on 24/10/2017.

The contract between adidas and AC Milan was originally scheduled to end at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season. The annual amount was €19.7m during the 2016 financial year (from 01/01 to 31/12/2016).

The contract between Puma and AC Milan will cover a period of five seasons (2018-2023), and the annual amount would be between €10m and €15m, according to trans-alpine media sources.

Puma no longer has any club under contract in the Serie A TIM since the end of the 2012-13 season (Unione Sportiva Città di Palermo).
