Major League Soccer: Australian Tim Cahill becomes ambassador for Warrior

The Australian international player Tim Cahill (57 caps, 24 goals) has become an ambassador for American sports equipment supplier Warrior, on the 16/10/2013. The New York Red Bulls striker is the first MLS player to join Warrior.

Tim Cahill "will help the brand to expand its reputation. This is a relevant signature for Warrior as we are starting to make a name as a rising brand in football," announced the supplier. The player will now wear Warrior Gambler boots.

The New York Red Bulls won the Eastern Conference MLS championship on the 27/10/2013 and the MLS Supporter's Shield, which rewards the team with the most points (59) during the regular season. The Red Bulls will play their first round of play-off's on the 03/11/2013, against an as yet to be determined opponent.

Meanwhile, the Australian national team qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil (12/06 - 13/07/2014).
