The Dutch brewer Heineken has extended its partnership with the Champions League for three seasons, on the 30/10/2013.

Heineken have been a partner of the competition organised by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) since the 2004/05 season, but they have been linked to the European federation since 1994 through their brand Amstel Lager. The Champions League contract was due to expire at the end of the 2014/15 season. The extension of the agreement makes the sponsorship effective until the 2017/18 season.

The contract, which is estimated at €51 million per year, allows Heineken to enjoy maximum visibility, with 13 minutes per game of LED perimeter board advertising in all competition stadiums. Heineken will also continue to sponsor the Champions League trophy tour.
