Licensing: UEFA begins process for rights in six product categories for 2018-2021 club tournaments

UEFA has launched the sales process for the licensing rights in six product categories for its club competitions for the 2018-2021 period, on 14/02/2018. The six categories of products open to offers are:
• White Label Watch (no manufacturer branding on product)
• Sunglasses
• Confectionery
• 3D printed figurines of football players who have won a UEFA competition
• Luggage and Leather Goods
• Headphones

The rights concern the 2018-19 to 2020-21 editions of the Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, Youth League, and Futsal Cup. The Swiss agency TEAM Marketing manages the centralised marketing of audiovisual rights, sponsoring, and licensing of club competitions organised by UEFA, from 1992 until 2021 (option until 2024).

Interested suppliers have until 02/03/2018 to contact TEAM Marketing (licensing@team.ch, or Daniel Hammond, see contact details below) to obtain all the information on the available licensing packages. In their e-mail, suppliers must specify the name of their business, the similar licenses they have owned or hold, and the packages that interest them.
