Champions League: Gazprom (oil and gas) extends its partnership for the 2018-2021 period

Gazprom, a Russian producer and supplier of oil and gas, has extended its partnership with the Champions League for the 2018-2021 period, announced UEFA on 16/02/2018. The agreement also covers the 2018, 2019 and 2020 editions of the UEFA Super Cup.

Gazprom has been a partner of the Champions League since the 2012-13 season. "As an official partner of Europe's premier club competition, Gazprom will continue to utilise its association with the UEFA Champions League to bring fans closer to the game and cement its position as a key supporter of European football," said UEFA.

As part of the agreement, Gazprom will obtain visibility on stadium signage and screens during UEFA Champions League matches, as well as on promotional spots broadcast on television, before, at half-time and after matches. The Russian group activated its partnership through the "Ticketmania" competition, which allowed fans to win tickets for Champions League matches.
