Serie A TIM: Inter Milan inaugurate a new academy for 10-16 year olds in Bandung (Indonesia)

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) have inaugurated an Inter Academy in Bandung, Indonesia, which will be the "the first step towards creating a first-class youth development programme for coaches and young footballers across the country," said the Italian club on 12/02/2018.

Inter Academy Indonesia, which will host young people between the ages of 10 and 16, will see club coaches "sharing FC Internazionale’s coaching methodology and expertise with young players and coaching staff of the Elite Teams in PERSIB Bandung’s youth academy. The youngsters will thus have the opportunity to develop their skills by taking part in training sessions of the highest technical standard within their own country - the ideal setting for them to mature both as footballers and individuals," added Inter.

"The training of local coaches is an integral part of the project, since they are the ones who interact with the youngsters on a daily basis. This is the only way to create a set-up capable of developing youth football on a truly global level," explained Inter Milan.
