Formula 1: LaLiga (Spanish professional football league) partners with Renault Sport in 2018

LaLiga, the Spanish professional football league, has become an official partner of the Renault Sport Formula One Team on 22/02/2018. This is an "innovative cross-platform sports partnership" according to the French Formula 1 team. This will be for the 2018 season of the FIA Formula One World Championship, which begins with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne (AUS) on 25/03/2018.

"The fusion of Renault Sport Formula One Team and the premier Spanish football league, LaLiga, joins two thrilling and spectacular sporting worlds that will allow fans access to multi-layered sports entertainment across multiple platforms," said Renault Sport.

As part of the agreement, LaLiga will gain visibility on the Renault Sport Formula One Team race car, as well as on the overalls of its two titular drivers, the German Nico Hülkenberg and the Spaniard Carlos Sainz.
