Bundesliga: Volkswagen extends partnership with Werder Bremen until 2015-16

The German carmaker Volkswagen have extended their partnership with Werder Bremen (Bundesliga) for two years, on the 04/11/2013. Both parties are bound to the end of the 2015-16 season.

Volkswagen, who have supported the club since 2008, are the official vehicle supplier of Werder Bremen. The deal is estimated at €1.5 million per year. The contract provides the car maker with stadium branding at the Weser-Stadion and the naming rights to a VIP stadium club, called the "Beetle Lounge".

"In the past five years we have implemented many activities with our strong partner Volkswagen. By providing a fleet of vehicles Volkswagen makes us mobile in every way. The contract extension again shows the importance of this cooperation," said Klaus Filbry, chairman of the executive board of Werder Bremen.
