UEFA: statutes adopted at the Bratislava Congress on 26/02/2018 came into force on the same day

The UEFA statutes amended at the 42^nd Ordinary Congress in Bratislava (SVK) on 26/02/2018 came into force on the same day, according to UEFA documentation (see below).

The statutes were originally adopted at the UEFA Congress in Helsinki (FIN) on 24/09/1997 and were put into force on 24/12/1997. The latest version bears the signatures, for the UEFA Congress, of Aleksander Ceferin, president of the European body, and Theodore Theodoridis, the general secretary.

The document also contains the general regulations of the UEFA Congress and the implementing provisions of the UEFA Statutes.
