Facebook: 84.3 million likes in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (March 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative 83.3 million likes on the social network Facebook, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/03/2018. The Serie A TIM is the third most popular Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League and LaLiga Santander with an average of over 4.2 million likes per club.

Juventus, Italian champions for six seasons and 2016-17 Champions League finalists, are the most popular Italian club on Facebook with 31.2 million likes.

In absolute terms, FC Internazionale Milano was the Serie A TIM club which posted the best increase in absolute value with 618,632 additional likes in February 2018. Genoa CFC posted the best percentage growth (+14.7%).

Three of the 20 clubs of the Serie A TIM have seen their number of likes decrease compared to on 01/02/2018. This drop could be explained by a cleaning operated by Facebook, which removes the "likes" recorded by "bots" (robots) or by inactive or deactivated accounts.
