LOSC Lille: Marcelo Bielsa sentenced in the first instance to pay the club €300,000 in damages

"Mr. (Marcelo) Bielsa has appealed to the Commerce Court of Lille in order to obtain the judicial recovery from LOSC Lille. Following the oral hearing that took place on 19/02/2018, the Commerce Court of Lille Métropole rejects the request of the former employee of LOSC Lille, and he is also sentenced to pay €300,000 in damages and interest to LOSC Lille,"  the northern France club announced on 05/03/2018.

The Commerce Court therefore agrees with LOSC Lille (Ligue 1 Conforama) in its dispute with its former manager from Argentina, dismissed for cause in November 2017.

"Since the beginning of the procedure initiated by the club on 22/11/2017 against the manager, LOSC has ensured strict compliance with the legal procedure and labour law.
