Twitter: 20.7 million followers in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (March 2018)

The 20 clubs involved in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative total of 20.7 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/03/2018. The Serie A TIM ranks third out of the European Top 5 leagues behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, and has an average of 1,036,876 followers per club.

AC Milan is the most-watched Italian club on Twitter with 6.52 million followers, ahead of Juventus (5.87 million), AS Roma (1.56 million), FC Internazionale Milano (1.55 million) and SSC Napoli (1.32 million)

The Serie A TIM was the European Top 5 league with the lowest percentage growth during the month of February with 0.89% of additional followers.

The figures taken into account for this ranking concern only the main Twitter account of each club.
