Serie A TIM: Cagliari Calcio presents 3 projects selected for the design of its new stadium

Cagliari Calcio (Serie A TIM) presented the three projects selected for the design of its new stadium (capacity adjustable from 24,000 to 30,000), on 28/02/2018, according to the club that has hosted its matches at the Sardegna Arena (16,233 capacity) since 10/09/2017, having previously played home games at the Stadio Sant'Elia, which will be destroyed to make way for the new stadium.

Twenty-five projects were submitted to the Sardinian club, which selected J+S and One Works, Tractebel-Engie and Sportium (see below), "three works conceived by teams that offer the best skills and experience in stadium engineering, architecture, urban planning with strong references to identity characterised by a profound territorial belonging," said Cagliari Calacio.

The three projects are on display at the Sardegna Arena until 09/03/2018. Supporters of the club are invited to vote to choose their favorite project.
