Serie A TIM: three matchdays, including Boxing Day, scheduled in Italy on 22, 26, and 29/12/2018

Three matchdays of the 2018-19 Serie A TIM season are scheduled on Saturday 22, Wednesday 26, and Saturday 29/12/2018, announced the Lega Serie A, which set the dates of the 2018-19 season on 05/03/2018. This series of three matchdays, based on the Premier League model which traditionally holds matches on Boxing Day (December 26^th), will precede the winter break of the Serie A TIM that will end on 13/01/2019. Italian clubs will return into action with the knockout stages of the Coppa Italia, and Serie A TIM matches will resume on 20/01/2019.

The 2018-19 Serie A TIM will begin on 19/08/2018 and will end on 26/05/2019. Two of the 38 matchdays are scheduled on weekdays, Wednesdays on 26/09/2018 and 03/04/2019. Four weekends of the 2018-19 season are reserved for national team football: 8-9/09, 13-14/10, and 17-18/11/2018, as well as 02-03/04/2019, specified the Italian professional league.
