Manchester City: Barclays (bank) becomes regional partner of the 2018 pre-season tour of the US

Barclays, the UK-based financial services group, has become a regional partner of Manchester City (Premier League) in the United States, on 06/03/2018. This is a second level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Mancunian club.

Barclays gains the status of official bank and credit card partner of Manchester City's 2018 pre-season tour of the United States (the club's programme has not yet been announced, as of 07/03/2018, but New York City FC, a club affiliated with City Football Group, are scheduled to play a match).

As part of the deal, the Barclays logo will appear on the back of the "Cityzens" shirts during the games played on American soil. The bank will also gain visibility on the backdrops during player and staff interviews.

In addition, Barclays will organise promotional activities, quizzes, and football-themed activations for its fans in American cities which are part of the Manchester club's 2018 pre-season summer tour.
