LOSC Lille: LFP condemns the incidents at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, the club files several complaints

"Following the incidents that occurred at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy (after the LOSC Lille - Montpellier Hérault SC game, 1-1, Matchday 29 of the Ligue 1 Conforama, on Saturday, 10/03/2018), LOSC made the decision, in agreement with the public prosecutor of Lille, to file several complaints on Sunday (11/03/2018) in order to allow the opening of a judicial inquiry as soon as possible," announced LOSC Lille on 11/03/2018.

"The investigations carried out must allow the identification of individuals responsible for acts of violence and their presentation before the public prosecutor's office," added the Lille club.

Directly after the game, angry Lille fans ran onto the pitch. Some kicked players before stewards were deployed, who were able to ensure the exit of the Lille footballers. A hundred supporters chanted "If you go down, you go down", before leaving the pitch, ten minutes after invading the pitch.
